About the Role: Remote Customer Service Associate

As a Remote Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be the friendly, knowledgeable voice that our pharmacy customers rely on for help, guidance, and solutions. This is a fully remote position, but you must be a resident of Kentucky and reside within 90 miles of Louisville, Kentucky. All work must be performed within the state of Kentucky.

This role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys working independently, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will handle a variety of customer interactions, primarily through inbound calls, as well as other communication platforms. Your primary goal will be to deliver an exceptional, memorable, and reliable experience for every pet parent who contacts us.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic and rewarding role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Customer Engagement: Engage directly with pharmacy customers who contact arenaflex for a wide range of topics. You will primarily handle inbound calls and assist customers through various communication platforms, providing timely, accurate, and friendly support.
  • Problem Solving and Research: Research customer inquiries thoroughly to determine the most appropriate solutions. Think critically and creatively to address concerns, resolve issues, and follow up as needed to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Going Above and Beyond: We are not looking for order-takers or script-readers. We are searching for professionals who can genuinely engage with our customers, listen actively, empathize with their needs, and provide thoughtful solutions while adhering to the highest safety and regulatory standards.
  • Adherence to Compliance: Follow all pharmacy regulations, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information at all times.
  • Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions, issues, resolutions, and any follow-up actions in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to leadership and team members about trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve the customer experience. Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including pharmacists, technicians, and other departments, to resolve complex customer issues and ensure a seamless experience.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a customer-focused environment, such as retail, call center, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and empathetically. You should be able to adapt your communication style to meet the needs of diverse customers.
  • Critical Thinking and Multi-Tasking: The ability to multi-task effectively, think on your feet, and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable navigating multiple systems and tools simultaneously.
  • Flexibility: Willingness and ability to shift schedules and work overtime as needed to meet business demands. This may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • Background Check Requirement: Must be able to pass a background check required for the Kentucky Pharmacy Technician (KY Rx Tech) license.
