[Remote] Renewal Marketing Representative

The Renewal Marketing Representative will assist with market evaluation and placement of new business for personal risk clients, providing internal assistance to the marketing team and ensuring clients are protected based on their specific needs and risks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal assistance to the middle market or high-net-worth marketing team
  • Determine appropriate underlying liability requirements when quoting umbrella/excess liability coverage. Ensure clients are protected based on their specific needs and risks
  • Utilize carrier resources to determine regional market appetites, enabling the identification of the most suitable insurance products for specific geographic areas
  • Assist in the completion of marketing summaries, binding orders, and underwriting requests, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete
  • Review new business submissions for completeness and accuracy
  • Gather needed client information from producers and confirm quote/policy transactions
  • Maintain accurate information in agency management systems
  • Develop knowledge of underwriting, sales, and service processes
  • Support Regional Marketing Specialist with follow-up information from Producers on recorded new business wins
  • Manage workflows to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions
  • Build and maintain relationships with carriers
  • Stay informed about changes and developments in the insurance sector to provide relevant and up-to-date advice to clients

Skills

  • Graduate of the USI Personal Risk Associate Career Track program
  • Personal Lines Agent's license required. Must hold or obtain Property & Casualty insurance license within 6 months of entering role
  • Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight required
  • Developing communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Resourceful, eager to learn new concepts, and further professional development
  • Open to feedback and coaching
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain client confidentiality
  • College degree preferred
