Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from clients, partners, and the public with professionalism and empathy.

  • Log call details, capture demographic data, and route inquiries to the appropriate department using the internal knowledge base.
  • Apply problem‑solving skills to resolve issues on the first call whenever possible, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all security protocols, including obtaining and retaining the required government clearance.
  • Adhere to established call‑handling scripts, quality standards, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, certification programs, and team meetings.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by covering additional shifts, holidays, or special projects when required.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • U.S. citizenship or authorized to work in the United States.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer literacy – comfortable with typing, navigating databases, and reading comprehension.
  • Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Prior call‑center or customer‑service experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with multi‑line phone systems, CRM software, or ticketing platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask—listening, speaking, reading, and typing simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data entry.
  • Empathy and patience when interacting with callers who may have diverse needs or challenges.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and security clearance processes at no cost to the candidate.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $18.00 per hour, with a structured increase to $20.06 after security clearance and Applicant Line certification. An additional $1.00 per hour is added for every hour worked after 6:00 PM (Monday‑Friday).

Sign‑On Bonus: $350 paid after successful completion of the initial training period.
