What You’ll Do Every Day

As a Remote Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, your primary mission is to deliver outstanding service while identifying opportunities to offer customers smarter, more relevant solutions. You’ll spend most of your day speaking with customers by phone, listening carefully to their concerns, and guiding them toward answers and upgrades that genuinely fit their needs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Active Listening & Empathy: Engage every caller with patience and genuine concern. Your first goal is to fully understand what the customer needs before offering a solution.
  • Consultative Upselling: Position relevant products, features, and service upgrades by focusing on the customer’s goals rather than pushing a hard sale. You’ll learn to recognize natural opportunities to add value.
  • Plan & Product Education: Clearly explain current service plans, features, billing details, and benefits so customers feel informed and confident in their choices.
  • Solution Identification: Match customer pain points to available offerings and propose alternatives that align with their lifestyle, preferences, and budget.
  • Multi-System Navigation: Move efficiently between CRM tools, knowledge bases, billing platforms, and internal communication systems to deliver accurate information without delays.
  • Documentation & Follow-Through: Record customer interactions thoroughly, update account information, and flag opportunities for additional outreach when appropriate.
  • Performance Excellence: Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs related to customer satisfaction, sales conversion, quality, and attendance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Age & Education: Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Customer Service Background: At least one year of customer-facing experience in a professional setting, whether in retail, hospitality, call center, or another service environment.
  • Computer Literacy: Comfortable navigating multiple applications, typing accurately, and learning new software tools quickly.
  • Communication Skills: Professional, courteous telephone etiquette with a friendly tone and clear pronunciation.
  • Attitude: A positive outlook, willingness to learn, and the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced, highly structured environment.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Must have open availability, including evenings and weekends. Schedules are assigned based on business needs.

Home Office & Technical Requirements

  • Internet Connection: Reliable high-speed internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed. Satellite internet is not supported.
  • Headset: A USB wired headset equipped with a noise-canceling microphone for clear communication.
  • Workspace: A quiet, secure, and dedicated work area free from interruptions, distractions, and background noise during scheduled hours.
  • Residency: Must reside in the state of Indiana to be eligible for this specific requisition.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous remote work experience in a customer service or sales role.
  • Familiarity with upselling, cross-selling, or consultative sales techniques.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, or contact center software.

  • Base Pay: $14 per hour.
