Functional Expert – Kondor+

We are looking for a Functional Expert to join our Financial Markets practice in Warsaw. In this senior role, you will lead functional workstreams within Kondor+ (Finastra/Teciem) implementation, upgrade, and transformation projects at major financial institutions. You will act as the primary functional authority on Kondor+ modules, bridging the gap between business requirements and system capabilities, while guiding junior consultants and analysts. This is a hybrid or fully remote position depending on the assignment. Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kondor+ (Fusion Kondor / K+) in an implementation, consulting, or support capacity Deep functional knowledge of Kondor+ core modules: Front Office (static data, market data configuration, deal capture, pricing), Fusion Risk and Reporting (P&L and regulatory) Strong understanding of capital markets products: FX, Money Market, Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities Practical knowledge of the full trade lifecycle – front-to-risk processing, P&L, risk&limits Proven experience in business requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional specification writing for Kondor+ projects Ability to configure Kondor+ standard products and workflows within defined project scope Experience leading SIT/UAT activities and managing defect resolution Clear communication skills (written and verbal) in English; ability to interact with client stakeholders at senior level Nice to have: Experience with Kondor+ upgrade projects (version migration, data migration) Familiarity with Kondor+ interfaces and integration patterns (KIS, FpML, FIX, MQ, REST APIs) Exposure to other capital markets platforms: Murex, Calypso, Summit, Sophis, Front Arena Understanding of regulatory frameworks: EMIR, MiFID II as applied in Kondor+ Knowledge of Sybase / MS SQL databases from a functional perspective Main responsibilities: Act as the primary Kondor+ functional authority throughout the project lifecycle – from requirements gathering through UAT sign-off and go-live Analyze client’s current business processes and translate them into Kondor+ functional specifications and system configuration Design and document Kondor+ functional solutions in alignment with the target operating model Configure and validate Kondor+ modules to meet business requirements, including: static and market data, deal booking, limit management, position keeping, P&L calculation Lead functional SIT/UAT test cycles: prepare test scenarios, coordinate testing with client business users, manage defect tracking and resolution Identify functional gaps between client requirements and Kondor+ out-of-the-box capabilities; propose pragmatic workarounds or escalate to technical team and/or Kondor vendor (Teciem) Guide and review work of junior consultants and analysts within the functional workstream Support client-facing workshops, demos Apply To This Job
