About the Role
In this remote customer service representative position, you will serve as the first point of contact for our valued members, answering questions about our comprehensive service offerings and resolving concerns with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism. You will work within a structured environment with established protocols and scripts that ensure consistency in scheduling, modifying, and canceling customer reservations—all while maintaining a personal commitment to producing high-quality work.
This is an after-hours position (NOT overnight), offering you the perfect balance of meaningful work during evening hours while preserving your personal life. Your Schedule & Work Arrangement
- Shift Options: Sunday through Wednesday OR Wednesday through Saturday (4 consecutive 10-hour shifts)
- Work Environment: Fully remote—work from the comfort and convenience of your own home in Virginia
- Start Date: Immediate opportunity with training beginning 10/22/2024
- Training Requirement: 100% attendance mandatory, with camera-on participation for the first 30 days of employment to ensure you're fully prepared for success

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a range of important duties that directly impact our members' access to essential healthcare services. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Customer Interaction Excellence: Receive and document customer concerns professionally and thoroughly, ensuring all relevant information is captured accurately and timely
- Trip Management: Ensure accurate trip data is input into our systems, maintaining the integrity of transportation schedules and member requests
- Service Education: Review and educate members about our comprehensive services and their insurance coverage, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care
- Protocol Adherence: Follow all company procedures meticulously, ensuring consistent, compliant service delivery across every interaction
- Problem Resolution: Refer unresolved customer grievances to the appropriate designated department for thorough investigation and resolution
- Multi-Tasking Mastery: Effectively and efficiently extract necessary information from multiple systems simultaneously while engaging with customers
- Call Management: Handle a high volume of calls—potentially up to 100+ calls per day—with consistent professionalism and attention to each member's unique needs

What You'll Bring to the Table
We are looking for candidates who combine educational achievement with practical experience and natural interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Experience: 0-2 years of related experience, with at least 6 months of contact center experience OR customer service experience preferred
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and empathetically
- Typing Proficiency: Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute with high accuracy
- Simultaneous Processing: Proven ability to talk and type simultaneously while maintaining clear, concise communication with customers
- Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously
