Role Overview – Remote Customer Service / Sales Representative (Retention Specialist)
As a Remote Customer Retention & Sales Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the frontline guardian of our customer relationships. Your primary mission is to engage callers who are considering canceling their arenaflex services, understand their concerns, and transform potential churn into long‑term loyalty. You will blend expert problem‑solving with persuasive sales techniques to retain valuable accounts and, when appropriate, upsell additional solutions that enhance safety and convenience.
This position is fully remote, but it requires an initial on‑site paid training period of 8‑12 weeks at our Irving, TX campus. After training, you will work from a private, distraction‑free home office, equipped with high‑speed internet and the tools needed to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Retention: Field a high volume of inbound calls from customers seeking to cancel arenaflex services and proactively identify opportunities to retain them.
- Solution Selling: Articulate the value of arenaflex’s security ecosystem, present tailored offers, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements that address the caller’s concerns.
- De‑Escalation: Apply advanced de‑escalation techniques to calm frustrated callers, uncover root causes, and resolve issues on the first contact.
- Multi‑Tasking: Navigate 10+ software tools simultaneously—CRM, billing platforms, contract management, and product catalogs—to deliver swift, accurate resolutions.
- Data Accuracy: Document each interaction meticulously, ensuring all customer details, offers, and outcomes are recorded in accordance with arenaflex policies.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed retention targets, call quality standards, and productivity benchmarks while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales‑oriented call‑center environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding retention and upsell goals.
- Demonstrated ability to handle escalated calls, negotiate contracts, and perform quick calculations under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or a degree is a plus.
- Reliable, high‑speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 15 Mbps upload) and a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
