Position Overview – Customer Development Manager (Insights & Analytics)

As a Customer Development Manager – Insights & Analytics at arenaflex, you will serve as the strategic analytics champion for one of our largest national retail partners. You will blend data‑driven insight with market‑savvy storytelling to drive category growth, optimize inventory, and enhance the overall partnership experience. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while keeping you closely connected to the pulse of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Stewardship: Manage and integrate multiple data sources—including point‑of‑sale (POS) feeds, syndicated market data, and internal shipment records—to monitor the execution of vendor programs and assortment strategies.
  • Insight Generation: Analyze sales, profit, margin, and market‑share trends to uncover opportunities, diagnose performance gaps, and recommend actionable solutions that align with both arenaxflex’s and the retailer’s objectives.
  • Strategic Reporting: Produce polished, presentation‑ready reports and dashboards that translate complex analytics into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership, retail partners, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Performance Management: Define, track, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assigned retail account, ensuring regular business reviews are data‑rich and outcome‑focused.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Partner with external retail customers, key suppliers, and internal stakeholders—including sales, marketing, and supply‑chain teams—to deliver insights that drive joint business planning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Professional experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector, preferably in adult beverage distribution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative analysis, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in merging disparate data sets (e.g., POS, internal shipment, syndicated panels) into concise, action‑oriented recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of national chain retail operations, distribution logistics, and category management principles.
  • Experience interpreting shopper and consumer insights from syndicated sources (e.g., arenaflex, arenaflex) and translating them into growth strategies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
