In today’s digital marketplace, the first interaction a visitor has with a dealership often occurs via online chat. As an Online Chat Representative at arenaflex, you will be the voice (and typed words) that shape that first impression. Your ability to provide timely, accurate information and guide prospects toward scheduling service appointments or test drives directly impacts the lead pipeline of our dealer clients. This is more than a customer service job—it’s a pivotal revenue‑generating function that blends sales acumen with exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage Visitors in Real Time: Respond to inbound chat inquiries from prospective car and RV buyers, addressing questions about vehicle specifications, financing options, service appointments, and dealership policies.
  • Provide Accurate Product Knowledge: Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base on a constantly evolving inventory of automotive and recreational‑vehicle models, including features, pricing, incentives, and availability.
  • Qualify and Capture Leads: Skillfully gather essential contact information—name, phone number, email, and preferred contact method—to convert chat interactions into qualified leads for dealer follow‑up.
  • Schedule Appointments: Guide interested prospects through the appointment‑setting process, confirming service dates, test‑drive times, or finance consultations, and ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
  • Summarize Interactions: Document each chat session with concise summaries that highlight customer needs, objections, and next steps, enabling dealer teams to personalize follow‑up outreach.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the sales, service, and marketing departments at arenaflex to share insights, suggest improvements to chat scripts, and refine lead‑generation strategies.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service, communications, or related fields are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer‑facing role such as retail, call center, or office support; experience in automotive sales or service environments is highly desirable.
  • Proficient typing speed of at least 35 words per minute (WPM); a speed of 40+ WPM is preferred to ensure rapid response times.
  • Demonstrated ability to type accurately with minimal errors while maintaining a professional tone.
  • Strong command of written English, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling; fluency in spoken English is required.

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks
