Position Overview – Senior Data Analyst (Remote)
arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Examination team. In this remote role, you will be the linchpin for subscription‑related data flows, ensuring the accurate capture, processing, and remediation of subscriber information across the arenaflex streaming portfolio—including arenaflex+, arenaflex Stream, arenaflex Sports+, and arenaflex International+. Your analytical expertise will support continuous improvement of business drivers, partner collaborations, and compliance initiatives, while delivering actionable insights that empower product, finance, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Management: Own the end‑to‑end ingestion and archival of subscriber data related to price changes, subscription modifications, and new account creation. Ensure data integrity and compliance throughout the lifecycle.
- Issue Identification & Remediation: Detect and prioritize subscriber records that require corrective action, collaborating with the Incident Management Board, Business Operations, and Product Design to guarantee timely resolution and accurate discount application.
- Business Requirements Translation: Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications, delivering concise updates on project status and potential roadblocks.
- Data Quality Governance: Build and maintain robust data models that underpin subscriber information, establishing standards for data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
- Project Coordination: Lead project planning, scheduling, and cross‑functional communication to ensure readiness for major business events such as promotional launches, pricing updates, and regulatory compliance deadlines.
- Process Optimization: Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance by developing streamlined communication processes and functional playbooks that reduce manual effort and error rates.
- Collaboration with Data Product & Quality Teams: Contribute to the design of resilient data delivery frameworks that minimize incidents, leveraging best‑in‑class data quality tools and methodologies.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards using Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms to provide real‑time visibility into subscription metrics, churn trends, and remediation outcomes.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience writing complex SQL queries, preferably within an ETL pipeline environment.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a data‑focused analytical role, demonstrating the ability to translate business problems into data solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or another statistical programming language for data manipulation and analysis.
