Position Overview

arenaflex is currently hiring motivated, customer-focused individuals for an Entry-Level Remote Customer Service Representative role. In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers of multiple high-profile client brands, providing assistance primarily through inbound phone calls, with additional opportunities to engage via chat messages and email responses. This is a 100% remote, freelance, part-time opportunity open to U.S.-based candidates located in approved states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Inbound Customer Calls: Receive and respond to incoming calls from customers seeking assistance with products, services, account inquiries, billing questions, technical issues, and general support needs.
  • Provide Multi-Channel Support: Engage with customers through chat messaging and email correspondence, ensuring consistent quality and professionalism across all communication channels.

  • Document Interactions: Accurately record customer interactions, issue details, and resolutions in arenaflex's proprietary CRM and support platforms.

  • Escalate Complex Issues: Recognize situations that require escalation to senior team members or specialized departments and ensure smooth handoffs when necessary.

Earnings and Compensation

  • Hourly Rates: Contract earnings typically range from $14 to $20 per hour, depending on the client and complexity of the program.
  • Performance-Based Incentives: Additional earnings opportunities are available through performance-based bonuses and client-specific incentive programs.
  • Pay Structure: Compensation is determined by your active phone call status when assisting customers, meaning you're paid for the time you're actively serving customers.
  • Weekly Payments: Contractors receive regular payments, with detailed reporting available to track earnings and performance.

Technology and Equipment Requirements

To ensure the highest quality of service delivery and maintain the security standards expected by our Fortune 500 clients, arenaflex requires all contractors to meet specific technology and equipment requirements.

Workstation Setup

  • Quiet and Secure Environment: A dedicated, distraction-free workspace that ensures confidentiality and professionalism during all customer interactions.
  • Organized Desk Area: A clean, ergonomic workspace that promotes productivity and focus.
  • Wired USB Headset: A high-quality headset with microphone for clear, consistent communication with customers.

Computer and Software

  • Personal Computer: A desktop or laptop computer with a minimum of 8GB of RAM. Note: Tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted.
  • Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11 is required. Some clients may accept Apple/macOS — please verify based on your assigned program.
  • Antivirus Software: Valid and up-to-date antivirus protection installed and active on your computer.
  • Smartphone or Tablet: An Android smartphone/tablet or iPad is required for program work, along with an authentication app for secure access.

Internet Connectivity

  • High-Speed Wired Internet: A minimum of 10 Mbps download speed via a wired Ethernet connection for seamless performance.
  • Approved Providers: Cable, fiber, or DSL internet services are acceptable. Mobile hotspot internet (T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) and satellite internet services are not permitted.

This opportunity is open to U.S.-based independent contractors residing in approved states. Due to client and regulatory requirements, arenaflex is currently unable to work with contractors residing in the following states:

Contractual Relationship

The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractor engagement, not an employment relationship. As an independent contractor, you will maintain your own business status throughout the duration of your program assignment.

  • arenaflex will not withhold taxes from your earnings — you will be responsible for managing your own tax obligations, including self-employment taxes.
  • As a contractor, you will not be eligible for employee benefits such as vacation pay, sick leave, retirement contributions, Social Security contributions, worker's compensation, health or disability insurance, overtime pay, or unemployment benefits.
  • You will be asked to formally acknowledge this independent contractor relationship upon signing your contract with arenaflex.
  • This structure provides flexibility and autonomy while requiring self-discipline and proactive management of your professional obligations.
