What You’ll Be Doing as a Sky Outbound Customer Sales Representative
As a key member of our high-performing Sky Outbound team, you’ll play a vital role in representing the Sky brand and driving sales growth through outbound calling campaigns. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Proactive Outbound Sales: Reaching out to existing Sky customers via telephone to introduce them to additional products and protection plans, using your persuasive communication skills to upsell and cross-sell effectively.
- Needs-Based Consultations: Taking the time to understand each customer’s unique circumstances, listening carefully to their concerns, and recommending the right solution based on their individual needs.
- Building Lasting Rapport: Creating genuine connections with customers by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and a customer-first attitude in every conversation.
- Delivering Peace of Mind: Helping customers safeguard their valuable home appliances against unexpected breakdowns, ensuring they feel confident and reassured in their purchase decisions.

What We’re Looking For – Essential Experience and Skills
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation in targeted sales and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Targeted Sales Experience: A minimum of 1 year’s continuous, targeted sales experience gained within the last 3 years. This should include outbound calling, upselling, or working in a commission-driven sales environment.
- Customer Service Background: Previous experience in a customer-focused role where you’ve been responsible for understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Driven and Target-Focused Mindset: A love of hitting targets, a competitive streak, and the resilience to keep going even when faced with rejection or challenging conversations.
- Outstanding Communication Skills: The ability to build rapport quickly, listen actively, articulate solutions clearly, and demonstrate empathy when dealing with customer concerns.
- Adaptability and Resilience: An unflappable attitude, capable of juggling multiple tasks, managing your time effectively, and remaining composed under pressure.

- Previous experience working in outbound contact centres or telesales environments.
- Experience selling Sky products, insurance, warranties, or similar protection-based services.

Your Training and Onboarding Journey at arenaflex
At arenaflex, we believe that great training is the foundation of great performance. From your very first day, you’ll be supported by a dedicated onboarding experience designed to set you up for long-term success. Over a comprehensive 2-week training programme, you’ll learn everything you need to know about our products, systems, and sales techniques.
Training hours run Monday from 10am to 6:30pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30am to 6:30pm, and Friday from 9:30am to 4pm. You’ll meet your new colleagues, perfect your sales approach, and discover what makes a truly outstanding customer experience. All training is delivered remotely, meaning you can complete the programme from the comfort of your own home.
Hours of Work and Shift Patterns
This is a full-time role based on a 37.5-hour contract, working within a two-week rotating shift pattern. The two shift patterns are designed to offer variety while supporting great work-life balance:
- Pattern One: Monday 10:30am to 7pm, Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 7pm, Friday 9:30am to 4pm.
- Pattern Two: Monday 10am to 6:30pm, Tuesday to Thursday 9:30am to 6:30pm, Friday 9:30am to 4pm.
All shifts are worked remotely from your home office, and arenaflex will provide all the equipment you need to perform at your best.
What You’ll Earn – Competitive Salary and Generous Bonus Structure
We believe in rewarding hard work and outstanding results. As a Sky Outbound Customer Sales Representative at arenaflex, you’ll receive:
- Competitive Base Salary: £23,000 per annum.
- Uncapped Bonus Potential: Average bonus earnings of £6,000 per annum, with the opportunity to earn significantly more based on your individual performance.
