About the Role

The Remote Driver Onboarding Specialist & Data Entry Coordinator is a multifaceted position that combines customer service, administrative precision, human resources support, and data management. You will serve as the primary point of contact for delivery professionals throughout their entire onboarding journey — from the moment they submit their application to the day they complete their first delivery on the arenaflex platform.

Key Responsibilities

Application Review and Document Verification

  • Carefully review driver applications for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility according to arenaflex standards and regulatory requirements
  • Examine insurance documentation and vehicle registration records to ensure all prospective drivers meet our operational and safety standards
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or missing information in submitted documents and proactively communicate with applicants to resolve issues
  • Maintain meticulous records of all application materials and document reviews in our proprietary tracking systems

Virtual Vehicle Safety Inspections

  • Conduct thorough virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants using video conferencing tools and arenaflex-approved inspection protocols (comprehensive training provided)
  • Guide applicants through each step of the inspection process with patience and clarity
  • Document inspection results accurately and flag any concerns for follow-up by the safety team
  • Ensure that all vehicles meet arenaflex safety standards before drivers are activated on the platform

Driver Communication and Support

  • Serve as the friendly, professional voice and point of contact for delivery professionals throughout the onboarding process
  • Communicate with driver-applicants via multiple channels including text messaging, live chat, email, and phone calls to provide updates on their application status
  • Answer questions, address concerns, and provide guidance to help applicants navigate the onboarding journey with confidence
  • Build rapport and trust with delivery professionals, reflecting arenaflex's commitment to exceptional support and service

Background Check Coordination

  • Initiate and order pre-employment background checks for driver applicants using arenaflex's company software and third-party verification services
  • Monitor the progress of background checks and follow up as needed to ensure timely completion
  • Review background check results and escalate any issues to the appropriate team members for further evaluation
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all background screening regulations and company policies

Data Entry and Administrative Support

  • Accurately input and update driver information in arenaflex's databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Generate reports on onboarding metrics, application status, and driver activation rates
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Support the broader operations team with various administrative tasks as needed

Essential Qualifications and Experience

While we provide comprehensive training for role-specific functions, we are looking for candidates who bring a solid foundation of relevant experience and skills to the table. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a business environment, with related experience in roles such as data entry, human resources, recruiting, onboarding, receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service
  • Educational Background: An Associate's degree or higher is preferred but not required. We value practical experience and demonstrated skills alongside formal education
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience recruiting or onboarding gig app workers, independent contractors, or delivery professionals is highly valued

Work Environment and Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. Location Preferences: While we hire remotely within the United States, we have a strong preference for candidates located in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Candidates from other states will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note that this role is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.

Compensation and Benefits

For this position, the annual salary range is $25,000 to $35,000, with the final offer based on the candidate's skills, education, and relevant experience.
