Position Overview: Remote Overnight Call Center Customer Service Representative

We are currently hiring for our overnight shift, with working hours typically running through the late evening and early morning hours. This is a full-time, remote position during the current public health environment, with an anticipated partial return to our Horsham office in the future once conditions allow. We provide all the equipment and training you need to succeed from the comfort of your own home.

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking language interpretation services. Your primary responsibility will be to gather accurate information from callers, understand their specific needs, and connect them with qualified interpreters who can facilitate effective communication. This role requires patience, professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to remain composed while handling a high volume of calls throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Assistance and Information Gathering: Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming calls, professionally greeting clients and accurately collecting essential information to understand their interpretation needs. Document all relevant details thoroughly in our proprietary software system to ensure seamless handoff to interpreters.
  • Interpreter Connection: Efficiently match clients with qualified interpreters based on language requirements, subject matter expertise, and availability. Ensure connections are made promptly and that all parties are prepared for successful communication.
  • High-Volume Call Management: Handle a steady stream of incoming calls in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner. Demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities while maintaining high standards of service quality and accuracy.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Delivery: Provide courteous, empathetic, and solution-oriented service to every caller. Anticipate client needs, address concerns proactively, and ensure each interaction exceeds expectations.

  • Software Proficiency: Learn and effectively utilize arenaflex's proprietary call management and client relationship systems. Demonstrate strong computer skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and platforms.
  • Problem Resolution: Address client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex matters to appropriate team leads or supervisors when necessary. Follow up to ensure complete resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow representatives, team leads, and management to maintain service quality standards. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain adherence to call handling protocols, documentation standards, and performance metrics. Strive to consistently meet or exceed individual and team performance goals.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education in communications, linguistics, business, or related fields is a plus.
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven track record of success in a customer service or call center environment, ideally with experience handling high call volumes in a professional setting.
  • Technical Setup: A personal computer with a working camera and reliable high-speed internet connection (required for remote work during the current public health environment).
