Position Overview – CPC Processor I (Customer Support)

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused CPC Processor I to join our remote call‑center team. In this role, you will be the front‑line liaison for patients, insurance representatives, attorneys, and other stakeholders who need timely access to medical records. Your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate, confidential, and efficient handling of release‑of‑information (ROI) requests while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a full‑time, remote position with a set schedule of Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 am – 7:30 pm. You will work in a high‑volume production environment, leveraging dual monitors and modern software tools to document and track each interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage inbound calls related to medical record releases, maintaining a professional and courteous tone at all times.
  • Process ROI requests from patients, insurers, and legal representatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal policies.
  • Research, resolve, and document inquiries received via phone, email, or written correspondence, providing clear and accurate responses.
  • Maintain detailed records of each interaction in arenaflex’s software platforms, using two monitors to efficiently capture data.
  • Adhere to departmental productivity and quality metrics, consistently meeting or exceeding performance standards.
  • Uphold confidentiality by safeguarding all protected health information (PHI) and following strict privacy protocols.
  • Collaborate with teammates and management to flag issues, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in mandatory training, mentorship programs, and regular in‑service meetings to stay current on policies and procedures.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality, reporting any schedule changes promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the broader goals of the Customer Support and ROI teams.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with multi‑line phone systems; ability to navigate complex call routing with ease.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Prior exposure to data entry, medical records handling, health‑care administration, insurance claims processing, or document proofreading is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Successful completion of an annual HIPAA introductory examination and a 90‑day ROI certification with a minimum score of 85%.
  • Ability to provide a high‑speed internet connection and a distraction‑free home workspace.
  • Full COVID‑19 vaccination (with legally permissible exemptions) in accordance with arenaflex policy.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
