[Remote] ServiceNow Business Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to capture and implement requirements for the ServiceNow platform. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams to define business needs, translate them into acceptance criteria, and ensure effective implementation of those requirements.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to:
- Gather and define requirements representing the customer need
- Write User Story Acceptance Criteria based on analysis of business requirements and desired result
- Ask probing questions to ensure requirements are complete, aligned and technically feasible
- Write clear Test Scripts, validate stories and assist with analysis and reporting of testing defects
- Work closely with architects and developers to ensure requirements are understood and solution designs are aligned with platform capabilities
- Responsible for holistically understanding both the business and technical aspects of the ServiceNow platform modules
- May also be asked to write knowledge articles and documentation that describes features and functionality for technical and business users
- Other related duties as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst
- 2+ years' experience in a supporting role in the ServiceNow Platform with experience with a variety of areas within the ServiceNow Platform
- Skilled in interacting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Stakeholders, Developers and RTX internal customers to define functional specifications that meet user requirements and are technically sound with excellent writing ability for producing concise and accurate user stories, acceptance criteria and process documentation
- Strong Excel and Visio Skills
- ITIL and / or HRSD certification
- ServiceNow certification
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
