[Remote] Account Manager

The Account Manager role focuses on delivering sales performance within the salads and open-field tomato portfolios, managing customer relationships, and executing sales plans to achieve commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver sales results for the assigned region in line with agreed targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key local stakeholders
- Manage customer orders, demand visibility, and ongoing commercial activities within the region
- Support the execution of crop group and business strategies at a regional level
- Provide timely market and customer feedback to support forecasting and business decision‑making
- Manage sales activities within the assigned region, achieving agreed volume and revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships through regular contact and on‑farm or on‑site engagement
- Support key customers with product selection, availability, and commercial discussions
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within agreed guidelines
- Contribute to accurate regional sales forecasts through close customer interaction and market awareness
- Manage orders and sales administration in line with internal processes
- Support demand planning by providing timely and accurate forecasts and market information
- Work closely with Country Manager and Business Development Manager and internal teams to support overall sales objectives
- Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, field days, and regional events
Skills
- Experience in sales or account management, preferably within agriculture, horticulture, seed, or related industries
- Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver sales results
- Strong customer-focused sales capability with sound commercial acumen
- Practical understanding of agricultural production systems and customer requirements
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities effectively
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others
