CA Licensed Medical Assistant (Part-Time; 20 hrs. /week)

POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a CA licensed Medical Assistant who is a high school graduate with at least 1 year of experience in chronic patient virtual care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Assist healthcare providers in managing chronic patients through virtual care platforms. 2. Perform routine monitoring of chronic patients' vital signs. 3. Address patient concerns, providing coaching and education to help them adhere to their care plan. 4. Provide ongoing patient education and support to ensure compliance with treatment plans. 5. Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. QUALIFICATIONS 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Active CA Medical Assistant license. 3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in chronic patient virtual care. 4. Familiarity with using Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) platforms and electronic health records (EHR). 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. 7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
