Description We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Remote Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our growing healthcare startup on a 6-month contract-to-permanent assignment. As part of our Clinical Care team, you will operate under the guidance of a Pharmacist Team Lead and the Head of Operations. Your primary responsibility will involve making outbound calls to patients, healthcare providers... and pharmacies to assist with patient cases identified via risk stratification algorithms. In this role, you will conduct interventions, which include obtaining and recording pertinent health and contact details, scheduling appointments, resolving medication-related challenges, and fostering patient engagement to provide outstanding support. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing inbound customer inquiries, preparing and mailing correspondence, and executing other assigned tasks as required. Skills - Certified Pharmacy Technician - Bilingual in English and Spanish - Strong time management abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace - Excellent written and verbal communication - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and medication names (both brand and generic) - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to multitask effectively Responsibilities - Make outbound calls to patients, providers, and pharmacies to intervene in patient care - Obtain and accurately record health and contact information - Schedule appointments and address medication-related concerns - Engage with patients in a compassionate and supportive manner - Manage inbound customer support requests and prepare official correspondence - Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery - Continually update knowledge of medication information and industry best practices Qualifications - Certification as a Pharmacy Technician - Experience managing 40-50+ adherence-related calls daily - Strong interpersonal skills and empathy toward patients - Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment Education Requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent - Active Pharmacy Technician License or certification Education Requirements Credential Category - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent certification Experience Requirements - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician - Experience in a patient care or customer support role is preferred Why work in Dallas, TX Dallas, TX offers a vibrant mix of culture, business opportunities, and a friendly community.
