About the position The Senior Analyst - Cyber Intelligence role at United Airlines is focused on enhancing the cybersecurity posture of the airline by leading the collection and analysis of cyber threat intelligence. This position is integral to the Cybersecurity and Digital Risk (CDR) team, which aims to embed cybersecurity into the core operations of United Airlines. The analyst will be responsible for disseminating critical information regarding cyber threats and potential attacks, ensuring the safety and security of customer and employee data. Responsibilities • Leads the collection, analysis, assessment, and dissemination of open source and classified information regarding cyber threats and potential attacks. , • Lead the analysis of open source, confidential, and/or classified cyber intelligence for United. , • Develop and present cyber threat reporting for diverse audiences up to the executive level. , • Oversee the collection of open source, confidential, and/or classified cyber intelligence. , • Share intelligence with key corporate, industry, and government stakeholders including the Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Department of Homeland Security. , • Assist in incident response engagements by providing technical expertise, research, and insight into actor motivations and tactics. Requirements • Bachelor's degree required. , • At least 4 years of cybersecurity related experience. , • Proficient with cybersecurity tools, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and/or SIEM. , • In-depth knowledge of the intelligence cycle. , • Proficient at interpreting and applying finished and raw intelligence. , • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship. Nice-to-haves • Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, GCTI, CCIP. , • Experience in other areas such as Fraud, network topologies, intrusion detection, incident response. , • Comfortable with scripting or programming languages (C/Python/Ruby/Javascript).
