3rd Shift Related Corn Cooker

3rd SHIFT: 12AM MIDNIGHT - 8AM w/MANDATORY OVERTIME Location(s): RELATED PLANT As a Corn Cooker, you will p repare raw batches of corn to be used in the production of corn-based products. Areas of Responsibilities : • DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare batches of corn by filling kettle with water and adding corn and lime • Observe and maintain cooking time • Cook corn and agitate, then transfer to the holding tank • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds • WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITES: • Perform Weekly/Weekend cleaning on kettles, tanks, and surrounding areas • Work with cleaning chemicals • Always utilize all required PPE . • OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision • Attend required training sessions • Work overtime, as required • Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping practices) as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) • Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications Education and Experience: Required: • GENERAL EDUCATION • ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION Preferred: • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D. • ADVANCED SCHOOLING About Wise: Wise Foods Inc.
