Key Responsibilities • Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings. • Produce verbatim transcripts while adhering to established style guides and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. • Collaborate effectively with the in-office team as needed, leveraging technological tools to enhance productivity. Required Skills • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential. • Exceptional listening skills with a keen attention to detail. • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and overall literacy. • Ability to meet deadlines and follow client-specific style guides. • Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy. • Familiarity with legal terminology is preferred. • Candidates must be able to process potentially sensitive audio/text content and pass a background check. • Court reporting students are encouraged to apply. • This position is not open to residents of Massachusetts or California.
