About the position The IT Technician, Level IV at GlasTechs is responsible for providing high-level technical support and maintenance for clients' information technology systems. This role involves analyzing, repairing, and updating computer systems, operating issues, and peripherals, with a focus on macOS and iOS environments. Technicians will work closely with clients to ensure effective use of technology, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions while maintaining high standards of customer service. Responsibilities • Analyze and perform repairs and updates related to clients' Information Technology systems. , • Install, configure, and fix macOS and iOS systems. , • Interact with users to guide them on hardware and software queries and issues. , • Partner with IT Help Desk and Network infrastructure teams to maintain equipment and infrastructure. , • Perform diagnostic tests to evaluate and isolate system problems and suggest solutions. , • Thwart cyber-attacks and eliminate viruses using various tools. , • Monitor, trace, and document problems to resolve them promptly. , • Carry out data backups and support the launch of new applications and services. , • Establish accounts and profiles for new users and handle password issues. , • Log all client activities through a ticket tracking system and document incidents accurately. Requirements • 5 years of help desk experience. , • 5 years of experience with Windows operating systems. , • Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting iOS and Android operating systems. , • Knowledge of O365 and Active Directory. , • Experience with standalone drives, JBoD, and RAID hardware solutions. , • Proficient in FileMaker database planning, development, integration, and maintenance. , • Experience using ODBC to connect FileMaker databases to SQL Server and MySQL. , • Networking experience including planning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. , • Experience with routing and firewall services, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies. , • Extensive experience using Macintosh computers as servers. Nice-to-haves • Familiarity with AWS services including Route 53, EC2, S3, WorkSpaces, and WorkMail. , • Experience with cloud-based file management systems like Box, Dropbox, iCloud, and Google Drive.
