RMC Customer Service Representative

Job ID: 475988 Clemente Fane Concrete is a division of Dolomite Products Company, Inc. and is one of the many local companies in the Northeast within the CRH Americas Materials division of CRH. Clemente Fane Concrete is a leading supplier of ready mix concrete products to state, federal, municipal, commercial, and private customers with operations throughout New York State. The Customer Service Representative reports to the Operations manager and General Manager. The Customer Service Representative is responsible in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to schedule and dispatch deliveries as needed to always ensure customer satisfaction. • *Job Duties and Responsibilities** - Actively participate in weekly safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) - Accurately proportion cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures in batches to load trucks - Will closely work with dispatch and customer service regarding customer material delivery and plant inventories - Responsible for compliance with applicable environmental regulations - Daily inspections of the plant and complete maintenance and record keeping - Overtime requirements during peak season - Duties and tasks may be modified by the manager according to company needs - Call customers in advance of late deliveries or delays in service - Proactively reach out to customers on new secured projects • *Education and/or Experience** - Previous experience preferred, but not required. - Management experience preferred, but not required. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Flexible, well organized, detail oriented and multi-tasked • *Job Requirements and Skills** - Must be able to perform duties safely - Plant Automation- Command alkon knowledge is preferred but not required - Solid communication skills (both verbal and written) - Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs - Strong analytical skills - Basic math skills - Work well in group problem solving - Ability to meet deadlines - Identify problems, gather, and analyze information and make the appropriate recommendations - Drug screen and background check required before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc. • *What CRH Offers You** - Highly competitive base pay - Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs - Group retirement savings program - Health and wellness programs - A culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion • *About CRH** CRH has a long and proud heritage.
