Negs Consulting offers Cloud computing consulting services to address all customer challenges related to transitioning to the Cloud. The company has ample resources to maintain Cloud solutions effectively. Role Description This is a contract remote role for a Cloud Engineer Tutor. The Cloud Engineer Tutor will be responsible for providing tutoring and guidance on infrastructure, cloud computing, Linux, IAC, and CICD. This is a great position for people who desire some flexibility in their daily schedules. Tutors would conduct tutoring sessions online for students, beginners and individuals transitioning to cloud computing across the country, so they need tutors who are flexible and adaptable to different curriculums. Desired Time Commitment: Minimum 5-10 hours per week Technical Skills: • Expertise in Linux system administration (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.). • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Ruby. • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. • Experience with version control systems such as; Git. Qualifications • Excellent communication and teaching skills • At least 5 years experience with Infrastructure and Cloud Computing • Proficiency in Linux environments • Knowledge of Databases • Ability to work remotely • Certifications in relevant Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or a related field These additional qualifications are a plus: • AWS & Azure certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are highly desirable. • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, CICD pipelines). • Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud.
