Mortgage Loan Closer Specialist

Certified Mobile Notary Service (https://certifiedmobilenotaryservice.com) is seeking for someone to fill the position of a Mortgage Loan Closer to work remotely in the U.S. WHAT WILL THE MORTGAGE LOAN CLOSER DO? • Performs duties from loans originated from any location throughout the company and/or from various Mortgage Consultants. • Audits the mortgage loan file for accuracy: pre-closing checklist. • Reviews underwriting approval for "clear to close" and "closing" conditions. • Verifies that lock, loan approval, fee sheet, and current loan entry program all match. • Confirms that loan is correct in loan entry program and completes all closing fields. • Prepares and sends closing instructions to title company 24 hours prior to closing. Includes invoices, insurance, and other miscellaneous items relevant to the file. • Balances and finalizes figures and closing and disbursement dates with the title company and has the Loan Consultant approve the Closing Disclosure. • Ensures closing package complies with regulatory and investor requirements, and terms and conditions of Loan Approval. • Prepares and sends closing documents to the title company. • Completes document tracking in loan entry program. • Uses conversation log each time a file is accessed or handled to accurately note progress of file. • Gives status on file to Loan Consultant and Loan Assistant. • Assists post closing and shipping with missing documents or issues.
