Job Posting: Provider Relations - Customer Service Specialist Job Location: Atlanta, Ga Job Type: Remote After In Office Training. Pay: $16 hr. Must have a degree in order to be considered for this position. Job Description: We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for providers within a child care services program. This role involves assisting with inquiries, resolving billing issues, and providing technical support for the billing system. This position is home-based with occasional travel to headquarters. A valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle are required. Key Responsibilities: • Assist providers with understanding program requirements and addressing billing concerns. • Provide technical support for the billing and payment systems. • Create support tickets and escalate unresolved issues. • Respond to rate change inquiries and connect providers with relevant teams. • Update provider details and process password change requests. • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve or escalate as needed. • Maintain accurate billing by updating school calendars in the system. • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment. • Stay updated on industry trends and handle special projects as needed. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Minimum of three years of professional experience in a human services or related field. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in child care services or a similar field. • At least one year of experience in customer service. • Knowledge of federal regulations related to child care or public assistance programs. Key Skills and Competencies: • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and telephony software. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. • Sensitivity to diverse communities and ability to adapt to changing needs. • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer inquiries. Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit, stand, and walk in various settings. • Good visual acuity for reviewing and analyzing data. • Full range of hand and finger motion for data entry.
