Manager Finance- Total Retail- Remote

About the position Cub Foods is seeking a Finance Manager for their Retail division to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal as it reports directly to the Retail Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and operates within a department responsible for comprehensive Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting and consolidation for the Retail sector. The Finance Manager will oversee two financial analysts and will be instrumental in leading critical financial processes including the annual budget, capital planning, tracking of free cash flow, periodic forecasts, and period-end P&L reporting. This position also plays a key role in supporting the Operations team's initiatives by utilizing actionable reporting to enhance store profitability. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the overall financial reporting of Total Retail, Cub, and Shoppers, collaborating with other members of the Retail FP&A team to gather necessary inputs and build accurate forecasts. This role owns the annual sales, EBITDA, and capital budget processes, as well as the periodic forecasting for Retail. Additionally, the Finance Manager will track performance against VDO Charters and manage operations reporting for weekly Merchandising and Operations calls. The position also supports the monthly close reporting process, which includes analysis, consolidation, and P&L reporting down to the store level. The Finance Manager will develop and manage reports that provide key insights for the Retail leadership team and Retail Operations leaders, analyze and present financial information to the Retail leadership team, and provide leadership, development, and training for the two financial analysts under their supervision. Furthermore, the Finance Manager will execute special projects in a timely and accurate manner as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience is essential. , • Advanced degree or candidate seeking MBA desired. , • 5-10 years of relevant finance and FP&A experience. , • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
