Our clients also have businesses in other industries like construction and hospitality as many investors are owner-operators or general contractors themselves. The Role: We are growing quickly and are looking for a talented, detail-oriented tax preparer to join our remote team and help us provide excellent service to our clients. This role is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, skilled professional experienced in U.S. tax laws, and it requires strict adherence to our Firm’s confidentiality and data security protocols. Benefits include: 100% remote work arrangement Weekly Pay schedule Pay: $35/hr to start Flexible work schedule Opportunity to go from part-time to full-time Opportunities for skill development and growth within a supportive team Tasks will include: - Manage client relationships to assist with onboarding, compliance needs and planning initiatives - Prepare individual (1040), small business tax returns (1120, 1065, 1120S), and potentially estate/trust tax returns (1041) accurately and efficiently - Conduct thorough reviews of tax information provided, ensuring compliance with all relevant U.S. federal, state and local tax regulations - Assist with delivery of other tax services such as tax return reviews, projections, planning or strategy - Collaborate with internal staff to clarify tax details and verify data accuracy - The application will ask you what your favorite dog breed is, answer Australian Shepherd in your application so we know you've read the full job posting. - Maintain strict confidentiality and data security when accessing sensitive client information. Contractor agrees to follow company guidelines in regards to cybersecurity and usage of client data. - Complete all assignments on or before the deadline, ensuring minimal revisions are needed - Other tasks as needed to help support our clients' growth goals Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in U.S. tax preparation; experience with real estate clients is a plus - Proficiency in Drake, Excel, and bonus points if you’ve worked in TaxDome - Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws, deductions, credits, and filing requirements for both individuals and businesses - Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines - CPA licensure required - Quiet environment to work - Windows-based Laptop/PC with at least i3 or equivalent with 8GB RAM - Fast & Reliable Internet - Commitment to strict adherence to our Firm’s confidentiality and data security protocols To Apply: You must apply using this link to be considered.
