RESPONSIBILITIES As a Virtual Teller, you will be under the general guidance of the Call Center Manager and the eCommerce Assistant Manager, the Virtual Teller is responsible for accurately providing members with a variety of account-related service assistance in a prompt, professional and courteous manner while maintaining the confidentiality of the Credit Union's records and member transactions. This position completes transactions (of varying complexities) according to established guidelines while adhering to Credit Union's policies and procedures. This position identifies and appropriately handles sale referral opportunities and is responsible for interactions and teller transactions with members and prospects through the power of innovative video technology. SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of one-year experience in a teller/customer service role in a financial institution • Exceptional member service skills. • Excellent communication (verbal, written and listening) skills; interpersonal communication skills. • Possess ability to perform within complex, multi-functional technical environment. • Ability to process and complete teller transactions in a non-traditional teller environment while offering exceptional member service that promotes the Credit Unions technology initiatives. • Proficient telephone etiquette skills including the ability to speak clearly and concisely with members and the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. • Ability to assess risk, exercise discretion and handle sensitive and confidential information or issues. • Demonstrate understanding of fraud and other risks associated with ITM transactions. • Effective decision making and problem solving. • Flexibility with work schedule. • Familiarity with credit union policies and procedures regarding deposit products. • Possess the ability to work independently, self-starter, strong organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills and attention to details. • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Microsoft office is required. WORK SCHEDULE This position typically works Monday-Friday with two Saturday shifts a month. Hours vary with at least two evening shifts a week. Typical shifts include 7:45 am - 4:45 pm, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, and 10:00 am - 7:00 pm on weekdays and 7:45 am - 1:00 pm on Saturdays. ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
