Transform intricate designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable, and efficient code. Optimize components to ensure top-tier performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers. Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives. Conduct code reviews, promoting best practices and maintaining a high-quality codebase. Update and maintain comprehensive documentation for all features in development. Reason over business objects with high degrees of nuance and contextual complexity in order to make day-to-day engineering decisions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in frontend development. Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Next.js/React or Nuxt.js/Vue and their core principles. Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript (ES6+). Strong knowledge of CSS (Flexbox, Grid, etc.) and a modern CSS framework such as Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools such as Webpack, Vite, esbuild, tsc and SWC. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of UX and design principles. Isnt afraid to ask questions to gain context and participate in discussions. Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior developers. Preferred Skills Proficiency in Tailwind CSS or other modern CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material-UI. Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Vitest, Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine, and testing libraries like React Testing Library or Enzyme. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL or tRPC Strong understanding of Tanstack Query familiarity with Tanstack Table a plus Experience with server-side rendering techniques and frameworks such as Next.js or Remix a plus Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Lighthouse and Webpagetest. Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. Understanding of accessibility (a11y) best practices. Experience with responsive design and developing for multiple device types and layouts. Familiarity with design systems and tools like Storybook.
