Kid's Ministry Director

Job Description: The Kid’s Ministry Director serves the Lord and FFC by overseeing the programs and people involved in the ministries which come alongside and serve families with children between birth and 5th grade. Spiritual Profile: 1. Spiritually mature as a Christian. 2. A biblical mindset about teamwork and partnership that includes a high level of trust and accountability. 3. Involvement in spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Bible study, witnessing, giving, etc. 4. A lifestyle that is visibly committed to the mission, values, and strategy of FFC. 5. An aptitude for excellence (doing the best with who and what you have for the glory of God). Skills and Gifts Profile: • Leader (visionary) • Imaginative (dreamer) • Nurturing (shepherd) • Disciplined (coach) • Communicative (teacher) • Flexible (gymnast) • A love for the next generation Principal Duties: • Develop and cast vision for FFC Kids • Develop the overall programs of FFC Kids so that the “large group/small group” philosophy of FFC is seen in our ministries to children. • Build and train teams and volunteers which can impact the children in our church including recruiting and training opportunities. • Design large-scale children and family ministry events that build community among our church families and as an outreach to our community. • Oversee Sunday morning and Wednesday night programming. • Lead, train, and equip Kids Ministry team including coordinators and assistant director(s). • Provide support for all FFC Kids teams. • Shepherd and minister to the adults and kids at FFC. • Regularly teach in kids ministry Decision Making: Authorized to make and execute decisions regarding the children's ministries with input, as needed, from Next Gen Director.
