Outpatient Nurse RN/LPN/MA

Job Overview You have the opportunity to join a dedicated team at Compass Health Network as an Outpatient Nurse (RN/LPN/MA) where your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of care we provide to our communities. With a $3,600 sign-on bonus available, we are looking for compassionate individuals ready to take on the challenge of running a Medication Clinic and fulfilling case management responsibilities. This role will require close collaboration with clinical staff to ensure every client receives the highest level of care. Key Responsibilities • Organize, plan, and supervise the medication clinic operations. • Cross-train in other clinics and regions as directed by the Supervisor. • Conduct medication education sessions with clients and manage refill requests. • Complete all necessary documentation related to medication clinics and psychiatric consultations for electronic health records (EHR). • Administer intramuscular medications and maintain accurate logs for all medications dispensed. • Assist with prior authorizations and manage the injection inventory. • Measure vital signs for each client and coordinate pre-diabetes screening when required. Required Skills • Strong organizational and planning capabilities for effective clinic management. • Excellent communication skills to engage with both clinical staff and clients. • Proficiency in medication administration and documentation practices. • Adeptness in using technology and computer systems relevant to healthcare operations. Qualifications • A high school diploma or GED is required. • A Practical Nursing Certificate or an Associate/Bachelor's degree in nursing is essential. • Current licensure as GPN, LPN, GN, or RN with the expectation to pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
