Part-Time Mental Health Counselor

First-Aid Counseling is a new practice, established March 2023. The practice is rapidly growing and seeking a part-time Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC, LCMHCA or LCSW, LCSWA). This will be contract work, all remote. For more information please visit: https://www.first-aidcounseling.com/ Required hours will be anywhere from 10-20 hours per week, choose your own schedule. Afternoon and evening hours preferred. Comfortable working with young teenagers. Contract rate will be a 40/60 split of contractual insurance rates which average $40-$60 per hour. Pay will be 30 day net. Ideal candidate must be fully licensed and preferably credentialed with Medicaid, BCBS, and other major insurances. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify trauma-related symptoms and their impact on clients' lives. • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based trauma therapies and modalities. • Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable exploring and processing their traumatic experiences. • Collaborate with other members of the integrative therapy team to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients. • Regularly evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals. • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards. • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in trauma treatment and participate in ongoing professional development activities. Qualifications: • Master's Counseling, Social Work, or related field. • Licensed as a mental health professional in the state of North Carolina. • Ability to establish a strong therapeutic alliance and create a safe space for clients to explore their trauma experiences. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Empathy, compassion, and dedication to supporting clients' healing journeys. • Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. • Willingness to work collaboratively. • Willingness to work with youth. • Willingness to work afternoon and evening hours.
