About the position The Branch Operations Lead Trainee plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency within the branch. This position involves collaborating with the Branch Manager and other team members to create a welcoming environment, assist customers with their financial transactions, and promote self-service options. The trainee will also be responsible for adhering to banking policies and procedures while supporting the overall branch operations. Responsibilities • Work with the Branch Manager to set the tone of the branch environment for exceptional customer experience. , • Engage clients as they enter the branch, welcoming them and managing lobby traffic. , • Perform branch operations, including managing cash devices like the cash vault and ATM, while adhering to bank policies. , • Introduce customers to the branch team for specialized financial assistance. , • Share and set up self-service options for customers to access their accounts 24/7. , • Support the Branch Manager with loss control, compliance, and audit standards. Requirements • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent. , • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task. , • Dedication to following policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. , • Availability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings. Nice-to-haves • Demonstrated ability to connect, engage, and educate customers. , • Strong desire to influence and connect team members and customers to technology. , • Demonstrated leadership abilities and proficiency in operations and transaction accuracy. , • Some college level or military equivalent or 2+ years of branch banking experience.
