Job Description: We are seeking a Physical Therapist to work remotely with students in Kentucky’s schools. As a 1099 contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own hours and provide therapy from the comfort of your home, utilizing our telehealth system to support students’ needs. The role requires commitment to working three days a week. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct virtual evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students. • Provide remote physical therapy sessions, guiding students through exercises and therapies. • Collaborate with educators and school staff to integrate therapy into students’ daily routines. • Track and report on student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. • Educate students and their families on injury prevention, physical wellness, and therapeutic activities. • Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress. Qualifications: • Active Physical Therapist license in Kentucky. • Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children is preferred. • Strong communication skills and proficiency with telehealth technology. • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively. Preferred Skills: • Experience with telehealth services and virtual learning environments. • Certification or training in pediatric physical therapy or school-based therapy. • Familiarity with educational frameworks and IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes.
