Part Time Bookkeeper, Remote (Work From Home)

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in bookkeeping software. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our organization. Duties ? Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements. ? Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner. ? Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions. ? Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting processes. ? Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections. ? Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. ? Enter data and generate KPIs and metrics reports. ? Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices. Requirements ? Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. ? Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and spreadsheets. ? Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. ? Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. ? Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. ? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. ? A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required.
