Job Title: Technical Writer

Prompt is revolutionizing healthcare by delivering highly automated and modern B2B enterprise software to rehab therapy businesses, the teams within, and the patients they serve. We have established ourselves as the go-to platform in the space, are setting a new standard in healthcare technology, and rapidly growing our market share. We are identifying new challenges across outpatient therapy and the healthcare space at large everyday. Our engineering team is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Technical Writer who can bridge the gap between our engineers and other departments, ensuring that our documentation is thorough, organized, and up-to-date.

We are seeking a Technical Writer with a strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to write and review code. This role involves working closely with our engineers to document their work, ensuring that our documentation is comprehensive, organized, and easily discoverable. • Positive Impact: Prompt helps outpatient rehab organizations treat more patients and deliver better care with less environmental waste. That means less surgery and less narcotic-based pain treatment, all while turning a paper-heavy industry digital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing documentation as well as new code comments in merge requests created by engineers.

  • Meet with engineers to gather additional information and clarify any uncertainties to write thorough documentation of their work.

  • Organize and maintain the discoverability of the documentation repository.

  • Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date with the latest product and feature updates.

  • Collaborate with the educational content, marketing, and customer success teams to provide them with the latest documentation updates and triage any inbound questions.

  • Write clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that caters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
