This position operates on a flexible 1099 Independent Contractor basis, adhering to the academic calendar of school districts. Key Responsibilities • Select Teaching Assignments: Utilize our educator portal to choose opportunities that best align with your qualifications. • Engage Students Creatively: Cultivate an interactive and stimulating virtual learning environment. • Build Strong Relationships: Implement strategies to support student learning and foster positive connections. • Prepare Lesson Plans: Create comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to student needs. • Track Student Progress: Maintain precise records of student performance, providing constructive feedback and assistance as necessary. Required Skills • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Capacity to inspire enthusiasm and creativity in a virtual setting. • Proficiency in lesson planning and assessing student progress. Qualifications • Authorization to work in the United States alongside a valid New York State professional teaching license in any STEM discipline is essential. • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. • Completion of a Virtual Skills Teaching Demonstration and background check is part of the application process. • Previous online teaching experience is advantageous, but not mandatory.
