Our SelectLeaders client is a family-owned and led company established in the 1970s with its roots in the retail gasoline industry. The company has since expanded into commercial and residential real estate, development, clean energy, and marketable securities. The real estate portfolio spans approximately 1.5 million square feet across multifamily, self-storage, industrial, retail, FBOs, and office assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the self-storage facility.
  • Clean and maintain vacant units to ensure they are ready for new tenants.
  • Keep common areas, office space, and the property grounds clean and well-maintained.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and promptly address maintenance issues.
  • Assist customers with rental inquiries and provide unit tours.
  • Lease units, prepare rental agreements, and explain terms to customers.
  • Offer exceptional customer service in-person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Manage tenant accounts using Sitelink software, including reservations, payments, and lease agreements.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports through Sitelink.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, rentals, and customer communications.
  • Promote available units and special offers to maximize occupancy.
  • Assist with local marketing efforts and community outreach.
  • Upsell products such as locks, boxes, and packing supplies.
  • Monitor security systems and ensure property safety protocols are followed.
  • Conduct routine lock checks and maintain security gate access.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in self-storage management, property management, or a related customer service role.
  • Proficiency in using Sitelink software is required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college education is a plus.
