Apple Store Integration Engineer

Our client is looking to hire a remote Apple Store Integration Engineer. This is a remote/full-time/2.5-month contract position Hourly range based on experience: Up to $55/hour We are seeking an experienced Apple Store Integration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrating Apple App Store services, managing subscription lifecycles, handling enterprise app distribution, and working with iOS device management systems. This role requires deep expertise in payment integration, redemption code systems, and ensuring seamless app experiences within the Apple ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: • Implement and manage App Store payment integrations, including in-app purchases and subscriptions. • Oversee subscription lifecycle management, including trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. • Manage enterprise app distribution for internal applications, ensuring compliance with Apple’s enterprise policies. • Develop and maintain iOS device management solutions, including MDM integration for app deployment. • Work with redemption code systems to enable promotional offers and user access to digital content. • Ensure compliance with Apple’s App Store guidelines and best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues related to App Store services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA teams, to optimize the user experience. Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in iOS development, App Store integrations, or related fields. • Strong knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, and iOS frameworks related to in-app purchases and subscriptions. • Hands-on experience with StoreKit, Apple’s Subscription APIs, and App Store Connect. • Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) and enterprise app deployment. • Experience implementing redemption code systems and promotional offers. • Understanding of Apple’s security, compliance, and distribution guidelines. • Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide scalable solutions. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with server-side receipt validation and subscription status management. • Knowledge of backend integration for App Store transactions. • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and Apple School Manager for enterprise solutions. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
