Responsibilities
- Conduct observations, tests, and sampling of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete on project sites, adhering to project requirements under the guidance of senior technicians, staff professionals, and project managers.
- Maintain daily communication with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers. Inform the supervisor about changing site conditions and any additional testing requests. Attend project meetings as required.
- Assist with managing field equipment and promptly notify the supervisor about broken or missing equipment.
- Receive comprehensive training on project observations, inspections, and testing procedures to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Limited or no experience required.
- Willingness to travel.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50lbs, pretty physical work.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week Benefits:
