Job Description
  • Administer instances of on cloud(Azure&AWS) and on premises Databases.
  • Optimize database maintenance plan and  fix high availability database server issues.
  • Perform database maintenance/task streamlining.
  • Investigate backup/restore issues.
  • Optimize database replication and disaster recovery.
  • Second tier incident management.
  • Investigation of root cause of incidents and proposal of short-term and long-term solutions.
  • Perform on demand database backup and restore.
  • Monitor SQL server cluster performance and anticipate issues.
  • Patch/Update of database servers/infrastructure.
  • Assist in automation of on demand database backups.
  • Respond to requests for database creation, user privilege assignment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's plus 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Working experience with Azure, AWS cloud and on premises databases.
  • Good knowledge of SQL server cluster and update of servers.
  • Experience in administration and maintenance of databases.
  • Ability to offer technical solutions in order to resolve technical issues and enhance efficiency.
  • Good command of English, equal to C2 according to CERF.
