Job Description- Administer instances of on cloud(Azure&AWS) and on premises Databases.
- Optimize database maintenance plan and fix high availability database server issues.
- Perform database maintenance/task streamlining.
- Investigate backup/restore issues.
- Optimize database replication and disaster recovery.
- Second tier incident management.
- Investigation of root cause of incidents and proposal of short-term and long-term solutions.
- Perform on demand database backup and restore.
- Monitor SQL server cluster performance and anticipate issues.
- Patch/Update of database servers/infrastructure.
- Assist in automation of on demand database backups.
- Respond to requests for database creation, user privilege assignment.
- Bachelor's plus 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working experience with Azure, AWS cloud and on premises databases.
- Good knowledge of SQL server cluster and update of servers.
- Experience in administration and maintenance of databases.
- Ability to offer technical solutions in order to resolve technical issues and enhance efficiency.
- Good command of English, equal to C2 according to CERF.
