Design Systems Writer

We are seeking a talented Design Systems Writer to join our team in a remote capacity. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and organization of documentation for our design system, working collaboratively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities • Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather insights and materials for documentation. • Develop and execute a comprehensive documentation strategy for component libraries. • Create consistent and easily understandable documentation across multiple design systems. • Set Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for new documentation and updates, identifying and escalating roadblocks as necessary. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets user needs and expectations. Skills • 1-3 years of experience in technical writing or documentation. • Strong ability to author detailed documentation for technical products. • Clear understanding of design systems and principles of user experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively with diverse teams. Preferred Skills • Experience with documentation tools such as Zeroheight, Supernova, or Storybook. • Background in information architecture or UX design. • Experience working with design system teams or in a cross-functional environment. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
