Location: First preference Austin, TX; second preference Seattle, WA W2 engagement: the rate reflects a W2 engagement Experience: 7+ years Education: BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field Portfolio Submission: Required About the Role: As a Senior Copywriter, you will conceive and execute marketing campaigns, produce creative assets, and develop innovative ideas that bring our brand's value propositions and positioning to life. You will collaborate closely with brand strategists, product and technology professionals, producers, customer engagement specialists, and more, gaining a deep understanding of our brand. This role involves leading and mentoring the creative team, partnering with a Senior Art Director to conceptualize ideas, and guiding projects from conception to execution. Key Responsibilities: • Craft compelling content across all marketing channels using global research and first-party data. • Write, edit, proof, and finalize diverse content types including emails, social media assets, research reports, blog posts, video scripts, and more. • Collaborate with visual designers to produce and deliver high-quality assets. • Present creative work to senior leadership and executives, advocating for the impact of excellent creative work on brand perception and business results. • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail. Ideal Candidate: • Has 7+ years as a Copywriter, preferably in agency or in-house environments dealing with global lifestyle or cultural-impact brands. • Exhibits outstanding copywriting and editing skills with a high bar for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. • Holds a deep craft experience in creative fields with the ability to develop strategic thinking that translates into compelling campaigns and creative work. • Demonstrates ability to guide writing projects, ensuring best-in-class work is delivered on time and within budget. • Thrives in collaborative settings, working across functions and with external partners and agencies to deliver results. • Is agile and adept at managing ad hoc work, with a willingness to tackle various challenges. • Possesses strong communication skills, capable of creating and delivering presentations that effectively articulate ideas. • Background in digital, technology, and/or travel industries is preferred.
