Manager, Materials Planning Management

NVIDIA has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager, Materials Planning Management to join our Global Supply Management team in Santa Clara, CA. This role offers an exceptional chance to be at the forefront of transforming our supply chain into a digitally optimized operation. You will lead a team of dedicated individuals, driving initiatives that ensure flawless execution and seamless collaboration across various functions in the materials supply chain. What you will be doing: • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Materials Planners by defining objectives, priorities, and performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives. • Coordinate the end-to-end materials planning management for new product introductions (NPI) from initial concept to production launch. • Ensure material readiness to support program achievements, including prototyping for multi-source qualifications, production ramp-up, and full-scale manufacturing. • Work closely with Engineering to ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and risk-buy readiness align with program requirements. • Proactively address material shortages, lead times, and supplier constraints to mitigate supply chain risks. • Develop and implement materials and supply chain strategies to ensure supply readiness and support delivery objectives. • Employ digital tools to improve supplier collaboration and streamline procurement processes across all global regions. • Champion data-driven decision-making to anticipate challenges and uncover opportunities for efficiency. • Establish and monitor critical metrics, using digital dashboards for real-time tracking of materials readiness and supply versus demand performance. What we need to see: • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience (master's degree preferred). • Minimum of 8 overall years of experience (with 4+ years managing a team) in materials management, procurement, or supply chain management within a semiconductor OEM environment. • Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives in supply chain management, particularly involving AI technologies. • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, NPI cycles, and material planning systems. • Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor materials and contract manufacturing processes. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. • Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, tools driven by artificial intelligence, and platforms for analyzing supply chain data. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks. • Experience with agentic AI systems in supply chain applications is preferred.
