Banquet Server/Setup

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service during events and banquets, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties ? Set up banquet tables and dining areas according to event specifications. ? Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner. ? Assist with the bussing of tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the event. ? Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and food preparation. ? Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries. ? Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. ? Provide excellent guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests. ? Assist in the breakdown of banquet areas after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly. Skills ? Previous experience in banquet or restaurant service is preferred. ? Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations. ? Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. ? Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment. ? Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. ? A background in hospitality or hotel services is an advantage. ? Ability to lift and carry heavy trays or equipment as needed.
