FedEx Ground Delivery Driver

FedEx Ground utilizes privately owned, independent contractors to service its delivery and pick-up service. You will be employed by an independent contractor and supplied with a truck and everything you need to deliver and pick up customer's packages in a designated area. Looking for experienced, dependable drivers committed to safety and customer service. Job Type is a permanent full-time position. Requirements: ? Must be at least 21 years of age ? Must have minimum 1-year verifiable commercial driving experience in last 3 years. (CDL license NOT required) ? Clean driving record for the previous 3 years. ? Pass Background Screening (No DUI?s or Felonies) ? Pass Drug Screen & DOT Physical ? E-Verify Applicants MUST MEET the above requirements to be considered for the position. Daily Responsibilities include but not limited to: ? Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle ? Follow DOT regulations and safety standards ? Work independently and as part of a team ? Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operating officer ? Accurately operate handheld scanner ? Operate truck safely at all times Compensation: ? Salary of $800-$900 a week ?
