Part-Time Guest Services Representative - Courtyard by Marriott

As a Guest Services Representative for High Hotels LTD., you are required to positively represent the hotel to the guest by responding courteously and efficiently to guest needs, acting as a source of information about the hotel and local area, and assisting guests during arrivals and departure. You will also be responsible for operating the switchboard and handling departmental accounting and financial transactions as they relate to this position. This position will be located at the Courtyard by Marriott on Hospitality Drive in Lancaster, PA. We are seeking a reliable Part-Time (3 shifts a week) candidate available to primarily work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Weekend and Holiday availability are required for this role. Weekends include a $2/hour shift premium! Starting Rate: $15.00/hour - $16.00/hour depending upon experience! Areas of responsibility for our Guest Services Representatives include: ? Responding to guest requests and inquiries. ? Taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations. ? Communicating hotel facilities and services to all guests. ? Providing information on the local area and points of interest. ? Assisting guests with arrivals and departures. ? Answering front desk phone. ? Cash handling. ? Will cross-train in Bistro to provide coverage in that department as well. Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications: ? A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred. ? The ability to work in both a team environment and independently. ? Customer service experience. ? Strong math, reading, and communication skills. ?
