Position Description: We seek a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support our teaching staff in creating a supportive, enriching, and engaging learning environment for our students. Teacher Assistant responsibilities include assisting the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans, maintaining student records, supporting students in their academic learning, and promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Our ideal candidate is patient, empathetic, and passionate about education and student development.

Responsibilities

Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records Supervise students during non-classroom times, including meals and recess Assist students in completing assignments and improving academic performance Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment Help prepare teaching materials and resources for lessons Provide special needs students with personalized assistance Communicate student progress with teachers and parents Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Teacher Assistant or similar role Understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices Good knowledge of child development and the latest education theories and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Patience, flexibility, and love for children Teaching certification or license is a plus First Aid and CPR certification
